Dear Sallie
I have just received yours of the 2d inst and will try and write you a few lines although I am sick and have a fever on me now. but I suppose I will be well again in a few days. do you recollect the tooth Dr Daughty broke off when I was at Pinners Point. it commenced aching a few days ago and caused me much suffering I had it drawn and the Dentist had to split it and take it out in two separate pieces and I thought my head was gone. since then I have been suffering with ___ in face & head. I wrote to Joe Lennon to day. I am glad to hear that Cadie is kept at a distance I understand you to say they had left, remain with your Ma, if you think it best. I see it is useless to tell you not to send me money you will certainly need it. keep it and send me stamps or the Photographs and so Tucker had gone North he will not be Missed. tell Ma & Shell I have answered their last letters, where is Griffin who stopped in Seaburgs shoe store my love to your Ma and all at home also to Ma & Aunt Mary, kiss my dear little girls for me from your affectionate Husband Henry A.
